Learn more about how childhood trauma can have long-lasting effects on immigrant families at trainings planned by Minnesota Communities Caring for Children (MCCC). The trainings start with an intro to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), to be held 1-3:30 pm, Friday, April 20, at LifeTrack Resource Center, 709 University Ave. W., St. Paul. This session will provide information about pivotal studies that show how trying events in childhood resonate through life.
These trainings are intended primarily for the immigrant community and practitioners that serve immigrant families. The April 20 introduction is for those who have not had the opportunity to attend an ACEs or trauma-informed presentation in the past.
